Chatfield 3 Shots Off Lead Entering Final Round at Great Abaco Classic
Former Rhode Island Amateur champion Davis Chatfield will enter Wednesday’s final round of the Korn Ferry Tour’s Great Abaco Classic with a shot to win.
Through three rounds, Chatfield is five-under for the tournament and three shots back of leader Kyle Westmoreland, who is eight-under.
Chatfield has posted two rounds of 71 and one round of 69 and currently sits in solo fifth place overall.

Chatfield’s 3rd Round
Teeing off among the final groups, Chatfield opened with a birdie on the first hole and another on the fourth hole to temporarily tie him for the lead.
The former Notre Dame star would drop a shot with a bogey on the fifth, but get it back with a birdie on the eight to turn at two-under.
Turning to the back side, Chatfield bogeyed the tenth hole to drop to one-under for the day before parring out to shoot a 71.
He finished the round in solo fifth, three shots off the lead.
