The East Providence Waterfront Commission has released detailed plans and a video regarding the development of Metacomet.

According to the video, the property will consist of 890 residential units, 153K square-feet of retail including a town center and grocery store. 

There will also be the nine-hole golf course (Met Links), shopping and dinning. 

The video shows a majority of the retail space and the residential area, but shows little to nothing of the nine hole golf course that will be called Met Links. 

It is GolfNewsRI’s understanding that work on the golf course is basically completed other than regular maintenance and it is set to open for play this spring. 

The entire property will be called “The Met,” according to signage that can be seen in the video.
