Rory McIlroy Wins PGA Tour’s Player Impact Program
Rory McIlroy edged out Tiger Woods to win the PGA Tour’s Player Impact Program (PIP) for the 2023 season.
The PIP was introduced in 2020-21 season as a reward to players to generate the most positive interest in the PGA Tour.
For his efforts, McIlroy takes home $15 million out of the $100 million purse.
The purse is distributed to the top 20 finishers overall.
Woods finished second and takes home $12 million.
He has earned $35 million over the last three years despite playing just five times.
