Vinny Papa Finishes 27th at Notah Begay III Girls National Championship
Rhode Island’s Vinny Papa finished in solo 27th this week at the Notah Begay III Girls Golf National Championship at Koasati Pines at Coushatta.
Papa was five-over for the tournament following rounds of 73, 72 and a final round 76.
She finished 12th in her age group – girls 14-15 years old.
There are a total of 70 players competing this week and Papa was the only Rhode Islander in the field.
She was also one of just two players from New England to play.
