Max Jackson Signs National Letter of Intent with Rutgers

La Salle star Max Jackson has signed his National Letter of Intent to play golf at Rutgers starting in the fall of 2024.
As GolfNewsRI reported, Jackson verbally committed to Rutgers back in March.
“I’m extremely excited to announce my commitment to play Division I golf at Rutgers University. First off, Thanks to all my family and friends for the constant support. Huge thanks to Coach Shutte and Coach Rose for this opportunity, looking forward to getting to work. Roll Knights,” Jackson wrote on Instagram.

This past summer, Jackson won his third straight Rhode Island Junior Amateur in extra holes over URI freshman Sebastian Carlsson.
He made a run to the semi-finals of the Rhode Island Amateur and helped La Salle to their second straight High School Team State Championship.
Jackson is the #1 ranked player in Rhode Island.
