Ed Kirby, Ryan Dacey Earn Conference Honors

Ed Kirby and Ryan Dacey each received high honors from the Commonwealth Coast Conference on Monday. 

Earlier this fall, Roger Williams won their first Commonwealth Coast Conference (CCC) title since the 2002 season and will play in the NCAA Tournament in the spring. 

Kirby was named CCC Coach of the Year after winning the conference title.

Each of Roger Williams’ players finished inside the top 16 at the conference championship. 

Dacey earned First Team All-CCC honors after posting a 76.5 stroke average as a freshman. 

He finished in second place at the CCC Championships. 

The former Toll Gate star played in each of the five fall tournaments. 

Two other Roger Williams players also earned conference honors. 

Freshman Sammy Johnson was named Rookie of the Year with a 76.1 stroke average. 

Will Lafrance was named Second Team All-CCC.
