Olivia Williams Wins RI Girls Player of Year
Rhode Island Women’s Amateur and Junior Amateur champion Olivia Williams has locked up the Player of the Year Award for the girls.
Williams beat out Kylie Eaton by 65 points to take the honor.
Back in August, Williams won the Rhode Island Women’s Amateur at Kirkbrae Country Club, beating Adriana Eaton on her home course.
Just a week prior to that, Williams beat Kylie Eaton at Ledgemont to win her second straight Junior Amateur title.
Williams lost out on the Women’s Player of the Year award by nine points.
It doesn’t count toward Player of the Year, but Williams also won the Potowomut Girls Club Championship.
