Leopold, Cooke Lead RI Four-Ball Championship After Day 1
RI Amateur Champ Bobby Leopold and his brother-in-law Tyler Cooke lead the Rhode Island Four-Ball Championship by one shot after day one of the tournament.
Leopold and Cooke are the defending RI Four-Ball Champions.
Playing their first round at Agawam Hunt, the duo carded a five-under 64 to lead by one shot over Rob Grossguth and Mike Petrarca.

Leopold and Cooke will look to close out the tournament on Wednesday at Quidnessett.
The RI Four-Ball was originally supposed to be held in May, but was rained out.
The tournament was rescheduled and moved to Agawam Hunt and Quidnessett.
Leopold & Cooke’s Round
The round started out with Cooke making a big par save on the first hole with Leopold in for bogey.
Both players made birdies on the third and fourth holes, and then Cooke birdied the eighth hole to see the defending champs turn at three-under.
On the back side, Leopold birdied the 11th hole and then Cooke birdied the 15th to get to five-under and in the lead.
Cooke made another big par save on the 18th hole to keep them there while Leopold was in for bogey.
