Will Dickson Begins Stage 1 of PGA Tour Q-School Tuesday in Alabama

Dickson will be playing his Stage 1 round at Magnolia Grove-Crossing in Semmes, Alabama.

He did not have to pre-qualify because his made cut at a Korn Ferry Tour event last season earned him an exemption.

The former Moses Brown star tees off at 10:05 a.m. local time with Ryan Siegler and James Nicholas.

The cut to get into stage 2 should be around the top 20 players and ties, though it won’t become official until all players are on the course.

Dickson’s Season

This summer GolfNewsRI documented a good portion of Will’s season on the mini tours in Will Dickson’s Journal.

The highlights of Dickson’s season included making it to a Korn Ferry Tour event through the Monday Qualifier and reuniting with Davis Chatfield.

Dickson missed the cut at that Korn Ferry Tour even.

The other highlight was Dickson returned to Rhode Island to play in the Providence Open at Triggs.

Dickson finished seventh at the Providence Open after a miraculous final round 68.
