Harry Dessel Finishes 3rd at Lehigh Invitational, Bryant 12th
Rhode Island Stroke Play champion Harry Dessel finished in a tie for third place att he Lehigh University Invitational this weekend at Saucon Valley Country Club.
Dessel carded a two-round score of even par to finish two shots back of winner David Hurly.
The former Moses Brown star opened the tournament with a 68 in the first round, before dropping back with a 76 in the final round for a total of 144.
Dessel’s Lafayette Leopards finished in 11th with a team score of 42 over par.
Lehigh won the tournament with a team score of 11-over par.
Bryant
The Bryant men’s golf team finished in 12th place out of 13 teams on the weekend with a team score of 44-over par.
The Bulldogs were led by Tyler Dupuis who finished in a tie for seventh with a score of three-over.
Patrick Galleher followed up Dupuis with a tie for 20th at seven over par.
Making his collegiate debut, Rocco Biafore finished in a tie for 60th.
Bryant closes out the fall season on Monday, October 30 and Tuesday the 31st at the Bucknell Veterans Intercollegiate.
