Francoeur Misses Stage 2 Cut at PGA Tour Q-School
Former University of Rhode Island star Chris Francoeur has missed the Stage 2 cut at PGA Tour Q-School in Florida.
Francoeur finished the Stage 1 tournament at nine-under, missing the cut by two shots.
The cut ended up being 11-under.
Francoeur fired rounds of 71, 66, 70 and 68.
Francoeur’s Final Round
Outside the cut line by one shot to start the round, Francoeur birdied the fourth and fifth holes to get to two-under on the day.
He parred the other seven holes and was inside the cut line after nine.
On the back side, Francoeur bogeyed the tenth hole to fall out of the cut with eight holes to go.
Following three straight pars, Francoeur birdied 14, made three more pars and closed with a birdie on 18.
