Francoeur Fires 66, Moves Inside Cut Line at PGA Tour Q-School Stage 1
Former University of Rhode Island star Chris Francoeur fired a second round 66 to move inside the cut line at Stage 1 of PGA Tour Q-School in Florida.
Francoeur sits in a tie for 17th at five-under par for the tournament with two rounds to play.

The cut is the top 20 and ties.
As of Wednesday night, four-under is the cut.
Francoeur’s Round
Starting on the front side, Francoeur played the first five holes at even par to stay that way for the tournament.
He then dropped a birdie putt on the sixth hole to get to one-under and would make the turn at that number.
Francoeur lit up the back nine.
The former Rhody Ram started with a birdie on the tenth hole, another on the par-5 13th hole and then two more on 15 and 17.
He saved par on 18 to shoot 66.
Through two rounds, Francoeur is six-under par on the back nine of the course.
