Sam Fuentes Leads Rhode Islanders at Foon Cup
Coventry’s Sam Fuentes finished in a tie for third place at this week’s Foon Cup at Ledgemont Country Club.
The tournament is part of the Challenge Cup circuit and pays tribute to Steve Feinstein.
Fuentes carded a five-over 76 to finish three shots off the lead.
He led all Rhode Islanders in the tournament.
Overall, Will Lord won the individual championship in a playoff of Zach Pelzar.
In the team portion of the tournament, Team Chatfield beat Team Welch 36-35.
