Chris Francoeur Begins PGA Tour Q-School Stage 1 Tuesday
Former University of Rhode Island star Chris Francoeur begins Stage 1 of PGA Tour Q-School on Tuesday in Florida.
Francoeur tees off at 10:15 a.m. eastern time at The Falls Club.
The number of qualifying spots will not be announced until all players were on the course.

In last week’s Q-School tournament featuring Andrew O’Leary, the top 20 players and ties advanced to Stage 2.
Last year, Francoeur advanced to Stage 2 of Q-School before missing the cut by three shots.
Francoeur on PGA Tour Canada
After missing the Q-School cut, Francoeur qualified to play on PGA Tour Canada.
There, he competed in ten events and made eight cuts with one top five finish.
Francoeur finished 42nd in the Fortinet Cup and collected just over $17,000 on the season.
