Chatfield, Welch Tied 38th Entering Final Round of KFT Championship
Davis Chatfield and Patrick Welch sit in a tie for 38th entering the Sunday’s final round of the Korn Ferry Tour Championship at Victoria National Golf Club.
Chatfield carded a third round 74 to sit a three-over for the tournament, while Welch’s three-over came after a third round 72.
The two locals missed being paired together on Sunday by one group.
Instead, Chatfield is off at 8:13 a.m. eastern time and Welch is right behind him at 8:25 a.m. eastern time.
Both off the tenth tee.
Victoria National Golf Club is rated by Golf Digest as the top private course in Indiana.
With one round left of the season, its is important to note that they both have locked up full Korn Ferry Tour status for the 2024 season.
Chatfield can lock up a bid into the final stage of PGA Tour Q-School, while Welch is slated for a bye into the second stage – if they choose to play.
Paul Barjon and Josh Teater are tied for the lead at 10-under.
Both of those players are fighting for their PGA Tour Card.
