Welch, Chatfield Struggle in Opening Round of KFT Championship
Patrick Welch and Davis Chatfield both struggled in Thursday’s opening round of the Korn Ferry Tour Championship at Victoria National Golf Club in Indiana.
Welch carded a two-over 74 and currently sits in a tie for 40th overall.
After one round, he is projected to finish the season 74th on the Korn Ferry Tour points list.
Chatfield fired a three-over 75 and sits in a tie for 45th.
The former RI Amateur champ is projected to finish 64th on the Korn Ferry Tour points list.
Mason Anderson leads the tournament at eight under.
