U.S. Open Returning to Brookline in 2038

It’s definitely a longer wait than anyone was hoping, but the U.S. Open will be returning to The Country Club at Brookline.

The USGA announced on Thursday that the tournament will return in 2038.

The U.S. Open was at Brookline in 2022 when Matt Fitzpatrick outlasted Will Zalatoris and a slew of top players to win the title.

The Country Club is also scheduled to host the 2030 U.S. Girls Junior, 2034 U.S. Amateur and 2045 U.S. Women’s Open.

Brookline has hosted a total of 17 USGA Championships, none more famous than the 1913 U.S. Open won by Francis Ouimet.
