Europe Wins Ryder Cup
The European team has taken back the Ryder Cup.
Europe held off a Sunday singles rally by Team USA to win 16 1/2 – 11 1/2 on Sunday in Rome, Italy.
Tommy Fleetwood earned the clinching point in his match against Rickie Fowler after Fowler put his tee shot on 16 in the water.
Europe has now won 10 of the last 14 Ryder Cups.
Meanwhile, the U.S. hasn’t won a road Ryder Cup since 1993.
The 2025 Ryder Cup is set to be held at Bethpage Black in New York.
