Rhode Islanders at the Ryder Cup – Tuesday, Sept. 26, 2023
It is Ryder Cup week and believe it or not, there are Rhode Islanders with boots on the ground in Rome, Italy taking in the action.
Despina Metakos Harris, and her husband Cody, were on the grounds on Tuesday and will be there Friday as well.
“We are taking a cab at 4:00 am to be on the first shuttle to be in the line first for the first tee experience Friday Morning,” Despina said.
Despina is a member at Triggs and owns the golf brand “Submarine Golf.”
