O’Leary Advances to Stage 1 of PGA Tour Q-School

Former Rhode Island Amateur champion Andrew O’Leary has advanced to Stage 1 of PGA Tour Q-School.
O’Leary finished at seven-under for the Pre-Qualifier to take medalist honors by one shot over Reid Martin and Tyler Jones.
The Pawtucket Country Club member posted rounds of 68, 67 and 74 to advance.

The top 38 players and ties made the cut.
It is unclear when or where O’Leary will play his stage 1 tournament.
There are multiple options, with the closest being North Carolina.
O’Leary’s Final Round
Starting on the front side and with the lead, the former Notre Dame star opened the round with three pars.
He then made three straight bogeys on four, five and six, before another bogey on nine to turn at 40 (4-over).
On the back side, O’Leary birdied the 12th and 14th before making another bogey on 17,
O’Leary birdied the par-5 18th to win take medalist honors by one shot.
