Olivia Williams Finishes 2nd at Granite State Junior Classic
La Salle star Olivia Williams finished in second place at the Granite State Junior Classic this weekend at Brentwood Golf Club in New Hampshire.
Williams posted back-to-back rounds of 76 for a total of eight over par for the tournament.
Maine’s Jade Haylock won the girls division at one-over for the week.
The Granite State Junior Classic is run by the U.S. Challenge Cup.
Adriana Eaton finished in a tie for fourth at 18-over par, while Lily Dessel finished 11th at 31-over.
Boys Divisions
In the boys 15-18 division, University of Rhode Island commit Luke Stennett won the tournament in a playoff over Jojo Hakala.
They ended regulation play at 5-under before Stennett won the first playoff hole.
RI’s Rocco Capalbo finished in a tie for 36th to lead the local boys.
Brendon Moreau finished 66th and Sam Iden finished 71st.
In the boys 13-under division, Nico Capalbo finished in 13th.
