Alpine Leads Kirkbrae After Day 1 of Ryder Cup
The first round of the annual Kirkbrae/Alpine Ryder Cup is in the books.
Playing on their home course, Alpine jumped out to an early advantage in the tournament, take a 4.50 -3.50 lead.
The tournament shifts to Kirkbrae on Saturday for four-ball matches, before returning to Alpine on Sunday for singles matches.
Kirkbrae is the defending champions.
