Harry Dessel Named Patriot League Golfer of Week
Rhode Island’s Harry Dessel has been named the Patriot League Men’s Golfer of the Week, the conference announced on Wednesday.
The former Moses Brown star finished all three rounds in red numbers, shooting 68, 67 and 69 for a total score of 204.
Dessel placed tied for third overall, finishing 6-under par at par-70 course.
Dessel led the Leopards to an eighth-place finish out of 15 teams on Saturday and Sunday at the Bethpage Golf State Park Red Course in the tournament hosted by St. John’s University.
The Leopards are back in action this weekend at the Temple Fall Invitational in Plymouth Meeting.
