Francoeur Finishes 34th at CRMC Championship
Former University of Rhode Island star Chris Francoeur finished in a tie for 34th at the CRMC Championship this week on PGA Tour Canada.
Francoeur finished at five-under for the tournament, including a final round 67 to move 10 spots up the leaderboard.
With one tournament left in the Fortinet Cup, Francoeur is projected to go from 42nd in points to 48th.
Yi Cao won the tournament at 22-under par.
Francoeur’s Final Round
Francoeur opened the round with a bogey on the third hole, but got it right back with a birdie on the fourth.
Following a string of pars, Francoeur birdied the ninth to turn at one-under for the round.
The former Rhody Ram parred 10-12, then dropped a birdie putt on the 13th hole, and another on the 16th to get to three-under for the day.
He saved par on 17 and 18 to stay at that number.
