Andrew O’Leary birdies 18 to shoot 59

Former Rhode Island Amateur champ Andrew O’Leary carded a 59 on Monday at Pawtucket Country Club. 

O’Leary carded a 32 on the front side and a 27 on the back, including a closing birdie to reach the magic number. 

The former Notre Dame star just came back from a pro tournament in Canada in which he finished 18th.

His road to PGA Tour Q-School continues.

O’Leary’s Back 9 

After carding a 32 on the front side, O’Leary birdied the first two holes on the back side. 

Following a par on 12, O’Leary birdied the next three-holes to get to five-under before saving par on 16. 

He then birdied the 17th and followed up with about a 15 foot putt for birdie on 18 to get to 59.
