Welch 2 Back of Lead Entering Final Round of Magnit Championship
Patrick Welch will be seeking his first professional win when he tees it up on Sunday afternoon in the final round of the Magnit Championship on the Korn Ferry Tour.
At 12-under, Welch is two shots off the lead of Taylor Dickson and Jacob Solomon, both whom are at 14-under for the tournament.
For the final round, Welch is in the second to last group and goes off at 12:48 p.m.
The Classical grad is paired with Chan Kim.
Welch’s 3rd Round
Welch got off to a hot start in the third round, making birdies on the first and third holes to get to two-under on the day.
He then made two straight pars before closing the front nine with birdies on three of the final four holes to shoot 31.
On the back side, Welch bogeyed the tenth hole, but got it right back with a birdie on the 12th hole.
That would be his only bogey of the day.
Welch closed the round with pars on the final six holes.
