Paik in 1st After Opening Stroke Play Round of MA Women’s Am
Former Wheeler star Allison Paik sits in a tie for first after the opening stroke play round of the Massachusetts Women’s Amateur at Dedham Country & Polo Club.
Paik is three-over for the tournament and tied with Mary Mulcahy and Mekhala Costello.
There is one more round of stroke play on Tuesday, before match play begins Wednesday.
Paik won the 2020 Massachusetts Women’s Amateur.
Paik’s Round
Paik opened up with bogeys not he first two holes, before bouncing back with two birdies on the fifth and sixth hole to get at even par.
Paik bogeyed seven to turn at one-over.
The former Columbia star made par on ten and 11, before bogeying the 12th hole.
She went on to birdie 14 and then made bogeys on 15 and 17 to shoot 73.
