BREAKING: RI Girls Win New England Junior Amateur
The Rhode Island girls have won the New England Junior Amateur on Wednesday afternoon at Mount Washington Resort Golf Club in New Hampshire.
The team, made up of Kylie and Adriana Eaton, and Olivia Williams carded a three-round team score of five-over par to win by seven shots over Connecticut.
Massachusetts finished third, New Hampshire fourth, Vermont fifth and Maine sixth.
This is the Rhode Island girls first team victory since 2019 when Allison Paik and Gianna Papa led the way.
Individually, Kylie Eaton won the tournament for the girls division with a score of two-under par over three rounds.
Adriana finished in a tie for fifth and Olivia Williams finished in a tie for eighth.
