La Salle Ranked 6th Best High School Sports Program in U.S.

The La Salle Academy athletic program is ranked as one of the best in the entire country.

According to MaxPreps, La Salle has the sixth best high school sports program in the country, and the best in Rhode Island.

La Salle was the only Rhode Island team to make the top 100 list.

Focusing on Golf

While these rankings don’t focus just on golf, we will.

La Salle won the 2023 State Golf Championship and have now won two straight titles.

Star players Max Jackson and Olivia Williams continue to rack up the individual honors to bolster the program.

Jackson has won two High School State Individual titles and three straight Rhode Island Junior Amateurs.

Williams has one High School State Individual title, two straight RI Junior Amateurs and a Rhode Island Women’s Am.

Jackson will be a senior next season and Williams a junior.

The Rams will look for bigger contributions from Charlie Melvin and youngster Drew MacLeod, who will be a freshman.
