Jackson, Vieira Snag Top 20 Finishes at Northern Junior
Max Jackson and Cole Vieira both snagged top 20 finishes at the Northern Junior Amateur at New Haven Country Club in Connecticut.
Jackson finished in a tie for 15th at four-over par for the week with a pair of rounds of 72.
Vieira finished in a tie for 20th at five-over with a 74 on the first day and a 71 on the final day to move up the leaderboard.
Other Rhode Islanders in the field include Sam Fuentes and Ian Dunham, who finished 50th and 53rd respectively.
Connecticut’s Alex Elia won the Northern Junior at two-under par.
The Northern Junior Team event begins early next week in New Hampshire.
