Max Jackson Leads Rhode Islanders at Northern Junior
Max Jackson carded a two-over 72 to lead all Rhode Islanders after the first round of the Northern Junior Amateur at New Haven Country Club in Connecticut.
Jackson is tied for 13th overall at two-over par.
California’s Ben Zeiler leads the tournament at two-under.
Jackson’s Round
Jackson opened with a birdie on the third hole, but followed up with bogeys on the sixth and ninth holes to turn at one-over.
On the back side, Jackson birdied the tenth, but that bird was followed by bogeys on the 11th and 13th.
He parred in to post 72.
