Soukatos, Douillette Win Triggs Ryder Cup
The team of George Soukatos and Michael Douillette carded a 4-under 68 to win the Triggs Ryder Cup on Sunday.
The tournament combined six holes of best ball, six of scramble, and six of the Chapman alternate shot format.
The team of David Sorafine and Peter Brown was one shot back at 69.
There was a three-way tie for low net (64) among Dave Deverell-Rick Bernard, Bob Aceto-Keith Blanchette, and Dennis Brophy-Ed Allcock.
Fourth low net was also a tie between Ken Ferrara-Steve McArthur and Shawn Souza-Mike Grigas (65).
Closet to the pin winners: Rick Bernard (#4), Michael Douillette (#7), Ken Mernick (#12), Bob Dauray (#14).
Skins were garnered by Steve McArthur, Rick Bernard, Bob Aceto (with an eagle on #6), George Soukatos, Ed Emond, Ken Mernick, and Tony Antonio Giorgi (with an eagle on #13).
