Rickie Fowler Wins on PGA Tour for First Time in 4 years

For the first time in four years, Rickie Fowler is back in the winners circle on the PGA Tour.
Fowler beat Adam Hadwin and Collin Morikawa in a playoff to win the Rocket Mortgage Classic on Sunday afternoon in Detroit.

This was Fowler’s first win since 2019.
“It’s just nice to have this one out of the way. I’m obviously going to soak this one in and celebrate a bit,” said Fowler after the round.
This victory comes after Fowler missed chances to win at the U.S. Open and last week at the Travelers.
Fowler Wins
Fowler had the lead for a good portion of the final round, even built it to three shots heading into the back nine.
However, that vanished and Fowler found himself behind by one shot heading into the 18th hole.
After hitting a tee shot just in the rough, Fowler put his second shot to three feet and made birdie to send the tournament into a playoff.
On the playoff hole, Fowler blew his tee shot way right into the crowd but it resulted in a great lye.
Fowler put his second shot on the green and Hadwin put his second shot on the green, but behind Fowler.
Fowler was going to get a read.
Hadwin’s putt just missed, but Fowler would make his to win.
