Vinny Papa Wins Worcester Women’s Amateur
Rhode Island’s Vinny Papa won the inaugural Worcester Women’s Amateur on Saturday afternoon at Tatnuck Country Club in Worcester.
Papa fired a two-day score of four-under par to win by four shots over MacKenzie Whitney.
Her first round 69 tied the course record.
She followed up with second round 73 which was more than enough to win.
RI’s Morgan MacLeod finished in third at two-over par, while Gianna Papa finished in sixth at 12-over.
