Rhode Islanders Teeing it Up at U.S. Senior Open

The U.S. Senior Open is underway at Sentryworld in Wisconsin and a handful of Rhode Islanders are in the field.

The U.S. Senior Open is coming to Newport Country Club in 2024.

Brad Adamonis qualified for the tournament back in May and is the first Rhode Islander to tee it up on Thursday morning.

He is off at 8:10 a.m. eastern time with Chris Gum and Mike Finster.

Patrick Sheehan and Brad Adamonis

Adamonis is scheduled to return to Rhode Island next week for the Providence Open.

The rest of the Rhode Islanders switch to the back side for the first day and they are almost playing all in a row.

Patrick Sheehan, who qualified in the same spot as Adamonis, is next on the tee at 1:30 p.m. off of the tenth tee with Tim Fleming and Scott Almquist.

Brett Quigley, who has been on leaderboards on the Champions Tour over the last few weeks, tees off at 2:33 p.m. eastern time.

Quigley had a share of the lead heading into the final round  last week at the Dicks Sports Goods Open before sliding down the standings.

Lastly, Billy Andrade tees it up at 2:43 p.m. with Scott Parel and Michael Campbell.
