Brandon Gillis Wins Lowell City Championship, Ties Tourney Record
Former University of Rhode Island star Brandon Gillis tied a tournament record en route to a victory at the Lowell City Championship.
Gillis posted a 54-hole score of 208 to tie the tournament record and beat Chris Gentle by one shot to claim the trophy.
In the final round, Gillis fired a three-under 69, including a birdie on the 18th hole to win.
Gillis also won the tournament in 2021.
The young lad birdied three of the final four with the last one being an up and down from a very tough spot. Go Rhody!
