Tom McCormick Finishes 47th at Vermont Open
Rhode Island’s Tom McCormick finished in a tie for 47th at the Vermont Open on Wednesday at Lake Morey Resort and Country Club.
McCormick finished at five-over for the tournament to tie with Richie Rick for 47th.
The former Rhode Island Amateur champion carded rounds of 69, 72 and 74 over three days for a total of 215.
Shawn Warren won the tournament in a three-hole playoff at nine-under par.
URI’s Bryson Richards finished in a tie for 19th with rounds of 69, 68 and 71.
McCormick will now turn his attention to the Kirkbrae Club Championship qualifier on Sunday and then the Rhode Island Amateur after that.
