VIDEO: Leopold Leads RIers After Round 1 of Northeast Amateur
Bobby Leopold leads all Rhode Islanders after round one of the Northeast Amateur on Wednesday afternoon at Wannamoisett Country Club.
Leopold carded an even par 69 in round one and currently sits in a tie for 27th overall.
Mike Hamilton and Tyler Cooke both sit at seven-over for the tournament, while Kevin Blaser is 10-over.
Georgia Tech’s Bartley Forrester leads the tournament following a first round 62 (7-under).
The cut takes place after Friday’s round.
