Adamonis in 3rd Through Two Rounds of Mass Open
Brad Adamonis leads all Rhode Islanders through two rounds of the Mass Open being played at TPC Boston.
Adamonis is seven-under for the tournament and in a tie for third place, three shots back of leader David Pastore.
Adamonis has the lead for a short time, but closed with two bogeys to fall back.
He is the only Rhode Islander to make the cut.
Adamonis’ 2nd Round
After carding a 68 in the opening round, Adamonis opened with birdies on the third and fourth holes to get to two-under on the day.
He then bogeyed the eighth hole and made a bounce-back birdie on the ninth hole to turn at 34.
On the back side, Adamonis got off to a hot start.
He birdied ten and 11, saved pars on 12 and 13 ad then made birdie on 14.
At the time, the birdie on 14 gave Adamonis the lead by one shot.
Following pars on 15 and 16, Adamonis bogeyed back-to-back holes on 17 and 18 to drop a little on the leaderboard.
Adamonis is still very much within reach of the tournament with two rounds left.
