VIDEO: Patrick Welch, Oklahoma Say Emotional Goodbye
Patrick Welch played his last match as a member of the University of Oklahoma Sooners earlier this week in the NCAA National Championship.
The Sooners didn’t make the match play portion of the tournament, meaning Welch’s collegiate career came to a close.
This past week, Welch posted a video through the Oklahoma Men’s Golf account saying goodbye to the the program that he has called home for the last five years.
Oklahoma coach Ryan Hybil followed up with a post of his own, calling Welch “the best 2-iron player in the world.”
