Chatfield Snags Top 20 Finish at AdventHealth Championship
Davis Chatfield carded a final round 68 (4-under) to finish in a tie for 19th at the AdventHealth Championship on Sunday on the Korn Ferry Tour.
Chatfield finished 11-under for the tournament after making the cut on the number on Friday.
The finish puts Chatfield at number 78 on the Korn Ferry Tour rankings.
Grayson Murray won the tournament at 19-under.
Chatfield’s Final Round
Chatfield got off to a hot start in the final round, birding three of the first four holes to get to three-under for the day.
He dropped another birdie on the seventh, before bogeying the eight to turn at three-under 33.
On the backs side, Chatfield birdied the 11th and bogeyed the 15th to stay at three-under.
After pars on 16 and 17, Chatfield closed with a birdie on the 18th to shoot 68.
Chatfield by the Numbers
Through the week, Chatfield finished 12th in driving accuracy, hitting 64% of fairways with an average distance of 270.5 yards.
The driving distance ranked 59th in the tournament.
The former RI Amateur champ hit 70% of greens in regulation, and was second best in putts per green in regulation.
He was also 20th in scrambling.
