Chatfield Cards 71 in First Round of AdventHealth Championship
Davis Chatfield carded a one-under 71 in the opening round of the AdventHealth Championship on the Korn Ferry Tour on Thursday.
Chatfield is currently in a tie for 70th with a slew of other players.
John Augenstein leads the tournament after a course-record 64 (8-under).
Chatfield’s Round
Starting on the back side, Chatfield opened with a birdie on the tenth hole and then dropped another one on the 13th hole to get to two-under.
Following a string of four pars, Chatfield closed the opening nine with a bogey on the 18th hole to turn at one-under 35.
On the second nine, the front nine, Chatfield opened with three straight pars before a bogey on the fourth hole.
He rebounded two holes later with a birdie on the sixth hole and then parred out to stay at the one-under number.
