Kevin Blaser & Ricky Stimets Finish 2nd at Mass Four-Ball

Defending Rhode Island Amateur champ Kevin Blaser and pattern Ricky Stimets finished in solo second place at the Massachusetts Four-Ball Championship on Wednesday afternoon at Bayberry Hills.
Blaser and Stimets fired a first round score of 66, but bounced back with a second day 62 to finish at 15-under for the tournament.

The Four-Ball was won by Thomas Harrison and Steven Tasho with a score of 17-under par.
The Mass Four-Ball featured celebrities such as Barstool podcaster Ryan Whitney and New England Revolution legend Taylor Twellman.
The Rhode Island Four-Ball takes place on May 1-2 at Crestwood and Warwick CC.
Blaser & Stimets Go Low
Starting the second round several shots off the lead, Blaser and Stimets got the final round started with a Blaser birdie on the second hole.
Stimets than canceled out Blaser’s sixth hole birdie with an eagle on the hole to have the pair turn at three-under for the round.
The duo dropped a shot on the tenth hole, but Blaser got it back with a birdie on the 11th hole.
From there, it was Stimets.
He birdied 12, 13, and 14, than eagled 16 and birdied 17 to launch the team into contention.
