Dickson Makes Cut at Huntsville Open on G-Pro Tour
Rhode Island’s Will Dickson has made the cut at the Huntsville Open on the G-Pro Tour and is in contention heading into Friday’s final round.
As Dickson talks about in his journal – running exclusively on GolfNewsRI – it has been a struggle over the early part of the season.
He has not made any cuts on the G-Pro Tour and the Korn Ferry Tour Monday Q’s have not been successful.

This week in Alabama, Dickson is 10-under for the tournament and in solo eighth place heading into the final round.
“I’m getting there. Just been doing the same stuff i’ve been working on. The course is a bit on the easy side. Firm and fast fits me pretty well,” said Dickson after the round.
The former Moses Brown star is six shots off the lead of Erik Edwards.
Dickson’s 2nd Round
Dickson opened the tournament with a first round 66 and came into the second round with a real good shot to make the cut and even get into the mix.
Starting the second round, Dickson rattled off five straight pars, and then made back-to-back birdies on holes six and seven to get to two-under for the day.
After saving par on eight, Dickson birdied the ninth hole to turn at 33.
On the back side, Dickson saved par on holes 10 and 11, then dropped a birdie on the 12th hole, and another on the 14th hole.
He parred out to post his second straight round of 66.
