“I am really proud of Bryson, but not surprised. This has been coming all semester. This is his fifth tournament and his worst finish is seventh,” said URI head coach Gregg Burke after the round.

With Richards leading the way, Rhode Island finished fourth in the tournament with a team score of 9-over par.

Penn State won it with a score of three-under par.

Other than Richards, who won the tournament, the Rams got contributions from nearly everyone on their roster.

Brandon Gillis finished in 13th overall with a score of one-over par for the week.

“Brandon was off by just a little and still had great scores. He will be dangerous at the Atlantic 10 Championship,” said Burke.

Geronimo Narizzano finished in 25 at five-over par for the week, including a second round 69.

Chuck Tragesser finished in 39th after a final round 70 shot him up the leaderboard 17 spots.

Freshman Aidan O’Donovan finished 46th.
