Will Dickson Misses Cut at Korn Ferry Tour Monday Q in Texas
Rhode Island’s Will Dickson missed the cut at the Korn Ferry Tour’s Veritex Bank Championship Monday Qualifier.
Dickson teed off in the afternoon and carded a two-under 70.
He would have had to shoot at least a 64 to get into a playoff.
Four players made the cut with 63 taking medalist honors.
Dickson’s Round
Dickson started his round on the back nine and opened with a double-bogey to put him behind the eight ball right from the get go.
He rebounded with a birdie on the 11th hole, another on the 16th and a third birdie on the 18th hole to turn at one-under.
Given the scores already in the clubhouse, there was a long way to go..
On the front side, Dickson opened with two pars, before making a bogey on the third hole.
The former Moses Brown star bounced back with birdies on the 5th, 6th and 8th holes, before bogeying the closing ninth hole.
