URI Golf Finishes 6th at Wildcat Spring Invitational
The University of Rhode Island Golf team finished finished in sixth place at the Villanova Wildcat Spring Invitational on Tuesday at LuLu Country Club in Pennsylvania.
Rhody finished 16-over par for the tournament, 16 shots behind Villanova, who won the tournament at even par.
The Rams were led by senior Bryson Richards, who finished in a tie for fourth at one-under par for the week.
Freshman Aidan O’Donovan followed up Richards with a tie for 13 at two-over par for the week.
Senior Brandon Gillis finished in a tie for 23rd at four-over par for the week.
Andrew DiPetrillo, Chuck Tragesser and Geronimo Narizzano rounded out the scoring for Rhode Island.
Next Up
The Rams return to action at the Rutherford Intercollegiate this weekend.
It is their last tune up before the A-10 Championship.
