La Salle Wins Challenge Cup Team Championship
If this week’s Challenge Cup Championship is any indication of how the high school season is going to go, we could be in for quite a ride.
The La Salle Rems won the title by two shots over Barrington and three shots over Prout on Tuesday afternoon at Alpine Country Club in Cranston.
The Rams posted a two-day today of 624, while Barrington carded 626 and Prout 627.

Joseph Earley finished 28th at 159 for the two day tournament, while Olivia Williams finished sixth in the girls division with a score of 160.
Charles Melvin rounded out the La Salle scoring with a 162 and a tie for 33rd.
Barrington was led by Lily Dessel, who finished in a tie for second in the girls division with a score of 157, and Cole Vieira who finished in a tie for 15th in the boys division.
