Kylie Eaton, Lily Dessel & Mark Roberts Tie for 2nd at Challenge Cup Championship
Kylie Eaton, Lily Dessel and Mark Roberts all finished in a tie for second in their respective divisions at the Challenge Cup Championship on Tuesday afternoon at Alpine.
They were the highest individual finishers among Rhode Islanders in the field.
On the boys side, Roberts carded a two-round score of 142 (1-under), to finish in a tie for second and four shots behind winner Josiah Hakala of New Hampshire.
The Prout star finished one shot ahead of La Salle’s Max Jackson.
On the girls side of the bracket, Eaton and Dessel both finished with two-day scores of 157 (13-over).
They both finished three shots behind Connecticut’s Laniah Moffett.
Adriana Eaton lead all Rhode Island girls heading into round two. She ended up finishing fourth.
