On what would have been Seve Ballesteros’ 66th birthday, Spain’s Jon Rahm won the Masters on Sunday afternoon at Augusta National.

Ballesteros was an idol to Rahm growing up and earlier in the week, Rahm quoted Seve after four-putting the first hole.

“This one is for Seve. He was up there helping and he did,” Rahm said after the round.

Rahm finished the tournament at 12-under for the week, including three-under for the day to beat Brooks Koepka by four shots.

Koepka started the day with the lead but shot himself out of it with a three-over final round.

This is Rahm’s second major championship of his career and first Masters.
